First-degree Review & Exploration
For people who have taken First-degree Reiki who are unsure of hand positions and who want to explore creative uses of Reiki.
You took your First-degree Reiki class and loved it. You felt so good afterward. Absolutely, it felt worth the time and the money!
Then you got home and somewhere along the line your memory of the hand positions got fuzzy, and other questions came up. You find yourself using it less than you thought you would.
You want to reconnect with Reiki, partly because it felt so good and partly because you would like to help some people you love (including yourself). In addition, you want to know other ways to use your First-degree skills—to help your back pain, or to help someone who lives far away.
You have tried remembering what your teacher said; you have talked with other Reiki people; and you have explored the internet. That left you with lots of information, some of it confusing. You want clarity, and you long to be more deeply connected to Reiki.
It is very common to feel lost and insecure once you are away from the learning environment. That’s why refresher courses exist—some of them, online. But with Reiki, books and the internet aren’t enough.
Three things can help a lot:
First, an in-person review and practice of the basic hand positions will get you back in the groove.
Second, the opportunity to share in a group what you and others have learned will broaden your knowledge.
Third, having an expert with many years experience will allow you to ask questions and get clarity. With this discussion and support, you can expand your experience and use of First-degree Reiki.
A Reiki Master with over twenty years Reiki experience, I will be happy to answer your questions, as well as support and guide your review of hand positions and your exploration of creative uses of Reiki.

The workshop includes:
- Clarifying and expressing your needs for the day—so I can address those needs
- Demonstration of self-treatment positions; basic treatment and additional positions
- Demonstration of and practice treating other people
- Discussion of questions
- Discussion of creative uses of Reiki
- Help in finding comfortable positions to give Reiki treatments
- Discussion of giving Reiki treatments without a Reiki table
- A full Reiki treatment

Other details:
- Bring your lunch or bring approximately $10 to buy lunch in the area. We will have one hour for lunch.
- Wear comfortable clothing!
- Be sure to have eaten breakfast before you come (or bring it with you).
- Tea, both caffeinated and not-caffeinated are supplied as part of the program.
